A sustainability architect by profession, Aparajita pursued her post-graduation (M.Sc.) in Resource Efficiency in Architecture and Planning (REAP) from HafenCity University, Hamburg and Bachelors in Architecture from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal.
She has experience in sustainability, building simulations, urban mobility and architectural and restoration projects. Simultaneous to practice, she has been associated with academics through School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal and MANIT, Bhopal for more than three years.
She is presently associated with SSAA as an Assistant Professor and teaches Building Construction and Materials, Architectural Design, Theory and Method, Environment Services and Sustainabilty Dissertation amongst other subjects.
She was a DAAD Scholarship recipient for pursuing her master’s in Germany for 2013 and 2014. Additionally, she was a DAAD Young Ambassador for India for the year 2016-17.
Research areas include: Climate Responsive Architecture, Building Simulations, Post-Occupancy Energy Consumption Monitoring in Built Sector
